Kezdesukhana is a research-based documentary project exploring third places in Almaty and Bishkek — spaces beyond home and work where communities form, people connect, and urban culture takes shape.
Through cultural research, interviews, and observations, we created a series of six short documentary films exploring the role of these spaces in everyday city life.
My role focused on research, narrative development, and editing direction — shaping the stories and structure of the films. I was also involved in developing public activities around the project, including screenings and an interactive city map that invited audiences to share their own third places
