My role: author
"Stihia" is a festival of electronic music, art, and science. Recently, it was held for the sixth time in Muynak – on the shores of the dried-up Aral Sea among the sands and skeletons of abandoned ships.

Our author, Zhanar Shakieva, attended "Stikhiya" for the first time this year and shared her experience of how the largest festival in Central Asia takes place right in the middle of the desert.

The first bank cards, "Asia Dausy", Sega and Dendy - all of this Kazakhstan experienced at the end of the last millennium. Today, the 90s are coming back in fashion with wide jeans and cropped tops, TikTok trends and song motifs.
